You know him. You love him. He has style. He has swag. He’s the one and only, Mikey! Since joining our team back in 2020, Mikey has gone from door person to bartender to live musician to wedding officiant to sound technician to event MC and beyond. To say he has left his mark on Green Bench would be an understatement.

Mikey came to us as a part-time employee during one of our most trying times as a business, immediately after our COVID re-open. He was tasked with the unenviable job of managing customer flow to ensure we were creating a safe environment for our customers during the pandemic. His infectious, upbeat personality and ability to win anyone over made him an invaluable asset to GB from the jump.

Owner Nathan says, “We were immediately impressed by Mikey’s patience and friendly disposition with everyone he encountered and knew it wouldn't be long before we got him behind the bar. Mikey has continued to display outstanding customer service as a full-time bartender and elevates the room with his consistent positive attitude.”

Mikey’s good-natured demeanor can only be matched by his work ethic that positively impacts customers and co-workers alike. “He is always on when he is behind our bar. He takes great pride in his job and it shows. He is the first one to step up and help his fellow coworkers. He’s great at recommending a beer that will be exactly what a customer is looking for, even if they didn't know it. He’s also the first person to strike up a conversation with a first-time guest or a long time regular. Mikey makes sure you feel welcome. He makes Green Bench approachable and reminds you why you enjoy going to your favorite bar for a cold one,” says General Manager, Connor.

Mikey has been referred to as “the hardest working man in show business.” Between serenading us to the sounds of Mike Tony, hosting our Webbsminster Dog show, and slinging beers behind the bar, Mikey is a true entertainer. He leaves everyone with a fond memory of the kindness he exudes and helps ensure each guest has a lasting impression of Green Bench. “Mikey has stepped up to the plate on numerous occasions and Green Bench wouldn't be the same without the one, the only, Mikey Bostinto,” says Nathan.
