Straw colored German Weisse beer, brewed with a complex mash schedule that includes a low temperature ferulic acid rest, protien rest, and two decoctions. Brewed with imported Pilsner and Wheat malts, and fermented with a traditional German Weisse yeast strain, Steinseifer is full bodied and cloudy with a pillowy white head and wonderfuly sticky lacing. The fermentation profile creates a mixture of clove and spice-like phenolics, with banana and vanilla cream-like esters.
