Raise a Glass to...Ashley!

Ashley is a STAPLE of Webb’s City Cellar by Green Bench. She’s literally been with us since the opening of Webb’s back in 2019. Raving about us since her first sips of Les Grisette back in 2015, she moved her family from Jacksonville to Saint Petersburg in-part to work for the brewery and has since become a fixture of our cellar. 

A must for bartending in Webb’s City Cellar is extensive beer, cider, mead, and wine knowledge. Ashley definitely does not fall short in that department. Oftentimes, she can be found taking customers on a journey of presentation and flavor through her knowledge of products and processes. General Manager, Em, says “Ashley’s knowledge stems from interest and never feels like a chore because it’s deeply rooted in passion. And mead…if anyone wants to know about mead, she’s definitely your gal.”

Ashley’s passion for the product naturally blends into exceptional experiences for patrons wanting to take a journey into our cellar selections. Khris Johnson, Head Brewer/Owner, boasts “Ashley is so dedicated to beer and cider. She has a unique interest in quality products served well and properly manicured. Her passion is very genuine and, when anyone has an opportunity to experience it, it's very infectious.” 

Elevated. Elevated is a word Ashley once used to describe Green Bench because of our “focus on serving quality beer, investing in knowledgeable staff, providing good service, and beverage presentation on a higher level than most breweries.” We think she’s on to something.
