Raise a glass to…Kendra!

Events. Events. Events. Here at Green Bench, we host a myriad of private events in all of our beautiful spaces for every kind of special occasion. It’s a BIG part of what we do in our physical space. From beer garden weddings to milestone birthdays in our cellar to showers and rehearsal dinners on our balcony to company gatherings in Webb’s second floor bar…we do it all. Kendra joined us back in January, in the thick of our peak event season, as our Events Manager. To say she jumped right into the role without hesitation is an understatement. With her expansive event and brewery experience (from around the country, we might add), she didn’t skip a beat. 

Nathan Stonecipher, co-owner, notes “Kendra came on-board at Green Bench during our busiest event season and jumped right into the fray. She has great attention to detail, and treats each group booking their special event with the utmost care. Most importantly, she always has a great attitude no matter what variables are thrown at her last minute!”

Sometimes the needs of Green Bench the production facility, Green Bench the tasting room, and Green Bench the event space can be challenging to juggle. Kendra has a keen eye for the bigger picture of Green Bench Brewing as a whole company, an attribute that is so beneficial for every person who works here. Our General Manager, Em, says “Green Bench Brewing and Webb's City Cellar event planning is no small feat, with about a million moving parts, and constant communication and care for each of our event clients. When she joined less than a year ago, Kendra's ability to keep us rolling on private events without missing a step has been a testament to her persistence and experience.”

When Kendra speaks of Green Bench, she mentions “St. Petersburg knows that GB has its back. GB is a place where all are welcome. A place to gather and talk, a place to celebrate life's big moments, a place to bring people together, a place to support and celebrate our community.” That’s a very thoughtful testament from a person bringing that exact same energy to her position each day. We knew she would support and contribute to our mission since day one. Bonus, we found out she has a killer voice at our anniversary karaoke contest!
